We are a small family run American Bulldog Kennel in Central
 Maryland. Our focus is on the Working American Bulldog. We believe
 in breeding for both form and function. To be conformationally 
 correct and still achieve the drive needed to have a working dog. 
      
     A lot of people will tell you that they breed their bulldog from
 working lines, but how many of those kennels actually work their dogs 
 on a competitive level. We test our dogs at an early age and then
 compete them in several working events. Our most loved and accomplished
 event is weight pulling. This sport tests the dog’s physical and mental
 strengths and is the perfect outlet for their drive. We compete in all
 weight pulling arenas on the east coast, NKC, UKC, APA, and IWPA. We also
 show our dogs in UKC and NKC.
 
        I have done research on this breed for years before I purchased
 my first dog and after the better part of a decade I continue to learn more.
 This breed is a loving and protective addition to any family. My dogs
 are socialized around children and people with disability however 
 that being said this breed is NOT FOR EVERYONE. If you are 
 interested in the American Bulldog, I suggest you first start off by
 reading THE WORKING AMERICAN BULLDOG by Dave Putnam. The American 
 Bulldog is a breed that needs an outlet for its drive: weight
 pulling,personal protection, hog catching, or just nice long walks,
 runs, playing fetch for hours. This is not a dog that can be confined to a
 house 24/7, but if worked out daily can be a great house dog
 as well as farm dog.
